Origins and lineage
Sunset Sherbet is a Girl Scout Cookies × Pink Panties cross from the Bay Area Cookies family, and the parent of many of the 'Sherb' strains grown today, including our Lemon Cherry. It is an indica-leaning flower with a creamy, sherbet-like fruit nose. Staff call it 'the one who collects the last light': the jar smells like an orange sunset.
Aroma, taste and when it fits
Dessert sweetness at 5 and floral at 4 lead, with citrus at 3 and only faint earth and fuel — creamy orange sherbet rather than sharp fruit.
Effects are moderate and rounded: body 4, couch 3, cerebral 3, sociable 3, focus 2. It is the classic 'that's enough for today' strain — early evening, a rooftop, the end of a good day rather than the start of a heavy night.
Why it is a Hightown favourite
Sunset Sherbet is among our ten most purchased strains and the parent of Lemon Cherry, so regulars often try both side by side. Its rounded profile makes it an easy recommendation for people who want to relax without being pinned to the sofa. Like every strain we grow, each harvest is scored on our own fifteen-axis profile before it reaches a counter, so the chart on this page describes the flower actually on the shelf, not a catalogue entry.
