- Tiger Cake × Blueberry Frosting
Maltese Tiger is a newer hybrid strain developed by Blockhead Buds, named after the elusive Maltese Tiger, a big cat so rare that its existence is often doubted. Much like its namesake, this strain remains a sought-after and somewhat rare find in select markets.
This strain is a cross between Tiger Cake from Compound Genetics and Blueberry Frosting from Humboldt Seed Company. Tiger Cake, with its lineage of Layer Cake and The Menthol, contributes a complex and distinctive aromatic profile, while Blueberry Frosting, derived from Blueberry Muffin and Vanilla Frosting, provides sweet and creamy blueberry notes. The combination results in a unique blueberry-cheese aroma.
Maltese Tiger has recently emerged in certain legal cannabis markets and is gaining recognition for its distinctive scent. It is also noted by growers for being vigorous, hardy, and forgiving, offering massive yields and ease of cloning, making it an appealing project for cultivators of varying experience levels.
