Origins and lineage

Lemon Cherry comes from the Sunset Sherbet × Girl Scout Cookies family, the same lineage behind the better-known Lemon Cherry Gelato. Sherbet brings the creamy fruit; Cookies brings the sweet-dough backbone and a touch of fuel. We list it as 40/60, leaning indica, though the citrus on the nose makes it feel brighter than that.

Aroma, taste and when it fits

Citrus scores a full 5 — sharp lemon rind on the first pull — followed by dessert sweetness and berry at 4, with a cake-like vanilla note and a fuel edge at 3 that keep it from being purely fruity.

Effects are even at 4 and 4 for head and body with a moderate couch pull at 3, so it works for a slow evening where you still want to talk or make something. Several regulars call it their 'creative' strain.

Why it is a Hightown favourite

Lemon Cherry is one of the ten most purchased strains across Hightown in recent months and a common staff suggestion for visitors who ask for something 'fruity but not weak'. The lemon-cherry nose is unmistakable on the jar. Like every strain we grow, each harvest is scored on our own fifteen-axis profile before it reaches a counter, so the chart on this page describes the flower actually on the shelf, not a catalogue entry.

Frequently asked

Is Lemon Cherry sativa or indica?
Indica-leaning at 40/60, from Sunset Sherbet × GSC. Relaxing in the body, but the citrus keeps the head clear.
What does Lemon Cherry taste like?
Lemon peel and sweet cherry up front, cake and a little diesel behind.
What should I try after Lemon Cherry?
Sunset Sherbet is its parent and shares the creamy fruit; Forbidden Fruit goes further into tropical sweetness with a heavier finish.
