Around Nimman
More than a shop — part of a neighbourhood we love
Nimman (Nimmanhaemin) is Chiang Mai's café-and-design district: a grid of numbered sois packed with coffee roasters, co-working spaces, boutiques and late-night eateries, five minutes west of the Old City. Hightown Nimman sits on Sirimangkalajarn Road, the quieter street running parallel to Nimmanhaemin one block to the west, so it is a short walk from any Nimman soi without the main-road traffic.
The shop is open around the clock, which suits the way the neighbourhood works: digital nomads drifting in after a co-working session, the after-dinner crowd from the sois, and visitors staying in the guesthouses and condos nearby. Staff speak English and can walk you through our own scoring of every strain — effects, aroma and terpenes — before you choose.
Frequently asked
- Where exactly is Hightown Nimman?
- At 12-11 Sirimangkalajarn Road, the street one block west of Nimmanhaemin Road. Every Nimman soi connects through to it; tell a Grab driver 'Sirimangkalajarn' and use the map link on this page for the door.
- What are the opening hours?
- Open 24 hours. It is one of our 24-hour shops, so a late arrival is fine.
- What do I need to bring?
- A passport or Thai ID card. Thai law sets the minimum age at 20 and we check ID for everyone; pregnant and breastfeeding customers cannot be served.
- Nimman or Maya — which branch should I go to?
- They are a short walk apart. Nimman is on the quieter parallel street; Maya is at the Huay Kaew end next to the mall. The strain library is the same, so pick whichever is closer.
